Commonly popular as Mad honey , cliff honey, wild honey worldwide is a rare find in Nepal. The 'Wild Himalayan Bees' collect the nectar from flowers and plants in the wild mountain of Nepal. Rhododendron is a common flower which contain Grayanotoxin which creates the 'Mad' value in the honey. This is also known as the honey with medicinal value which has been used since the ancient times. The local honey hunters bet their lives to harvest the honeycomb from the mountain cliff.
